Sture Ekengren, Cubist Landscape With Coastal Town Architecture The artist is unknown butA wonderfully bold cubist landscape painting by Swedish artist, Per Sture Ferdinand Ekengren (1918 1996). It depicts a view across rooftops towards the sea, beach and hills. Ekengren studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm and also undertook various study trips to Norway, Denmark, France and Spain, among others. During his lifetime, he exhibited at several museums including the Zorn Museum and the Hudiksvall Museum. The painting is signed in
